Ripoff, Dishonest-went bankrupt 1 day after I paid and didn't say anything

I had been in Kaufman's Wedding World 6 times with the last being Tuesday 9/8/04 and paid on one of my bridesmaids dresses and the following day they went under.

Before that happend I had been calling the Chambersburg, PA store and it redirected me to the Frederick store and Frederick told me that they were having phone problems so all calls were directed to them, but it turns out PA had already gone under.

Before 9/8 I had picked out a flower girl dress that was on sale. I was going to pay check and the woman told me that they would have to hold the dress until the check cleared. I figured it was because of the sale, but now it makes perfect sense. It just so happend I was able to pay cash and get out of there with the dress in hand.

I was mentioned that the workers new nothing of what was going on however the little events that happend lead me to believe they did know and just didn't tell their customers.

Thank God I started dress shopping early for my bridesmaids and that we still have plenty of time. I am still very disturbed at the fact that one of my girls lost out on their money however I will pursue to my fullest extent to get the money back.
