Fifth RCA Receiver Older Than the Original Equipment

I have been a Direct TV customer for almost 2 years now, and when I signed up there was no problem. When the installer came out to install the system, my wife was at home and I was at work. I spoke to the installer on the phone three different times, and the third time he offered me something called the "Direct TV protection plan." It covers your system from the satellite dish all the way to your remote control for only $5.99 per month.

I paid the extra amount for about 15 months before I ever used it. The problem I was having was that the receiver in my living room was going bad. It was a receiver made by Hughes.

I called Direct TV about the problem, and after about 30 minutes of diagnostics they finally wanted to send me a new receiver. I received the new receiver in 2 days thanks to FedEx, but the only problem was that I received an RCA receiver that was about 2 years older than the one I was having problems with. That receiver worked for about 3 weeks and then I had a problem with that one. I called Direct TV again and spent another 30 minutes on the phone doing the diagnostics again. Then they wanted to send a technician out, and the tech replaced my RCA receiver with another RCA of the same model. To make a long story a little shorter, I am on my 5th RCA receiver, which is older than the equipment I started out with when I signed up for the service. Is there anyone out there who can help me with some suggestions on what to do?

My contract is up with them in October because I bought a house and moved, and I had to sign another contract for a year. Thanks if anyone can help.
