I have been a Direc TV customer for almost 2 years now and when I signed up there was no problem, when the installer come out to intstall the system my wife was at home, I was at work, I spoke to the installer on the phone three diffrent times but the 3rd time I spoke to the installer he offered me something called the "Direc TV protection plan" and it covers your system from the satellite dish all the way to your remote control for only $5.99 per month.

I paid the extra amount for about 15 months before I ever used it. The problem that I was having is that the reciever in my living room was going bad. It was a reciever that was made by Hughes.

I called Direc TV with the problem that I was having and after about 30 mins of diagnostics they finally wanted to send me a new reciever. I recieved the new reciever in 2 days thanks to Fed Ex, but the only problem that I had was that I recieved a RCA reciever that was about 2 years older than the one that I was having problems with. That reciever worked for about 3 weeks and then I had a problem with that one, so I called Direc TV again and spent another 30 mins on the phone doing the diagnostics again then they wanted to send a technician out well the tech replaced my RCA reciever with ANOTHER RCA of the same model, well to make a long story a lil shorter I am on my 5th RCA reciever that is older than the equipment than I started out with when I signed up for the service. Is there anyone out there that can help me out here with some suggestions on what to do?

My contract is up with them in October because I bought a house and moved and I had to sign another contract for a year. Thanks if anyone can help.
