From the moment that I dialed the wrong number, I was:

1. Mislead to believet that I had reached DISH network and that This company handled both DISH and Directv services.

2. I had called to change my programming on DISH not to buy Directv

3. Sold a bill of goods and lead to believe that for $150.00 I could purchase enough equipment to service my house and RV with satelite dishes and reciever boxes to have a DVR in both the camper and house. This in the end required 2 satelittle dishes (I recieved 3) and 2 DVR and 1 standard reciever (I ended up with 2). This money was to include installation in my house to begin with.

4. When the installer arrived at my house the equipment that was sent was incorrect and inadequate to meet the needs that I described to the sales person on the phone when I did order Directv. Only one dish had been sent and the 2 two room DVRs that I ordered were not capable to control TV's in 2 rooms but would record on 2 channels at the same time. We needed another standard DVR for the house and another dish for the RV. Since both of these would have allowed me to recieve tv in the camper at the location that I was at DISH1up agreed to sent me the equipment to my RV location instead of the house, after all I had tv at the house with DISH until they showed up anyway. I could swap out the recievers when I made a trip home. They immediately sent me the other dish to the correct location but sent astandard reciever to my home address and stated that it was INSTALLED (not, it stayed in the box until the next month.)

When I informed them of their mistake they said they would immediately send someone to retrieve the standard reciever from my home address and ship me out another reciever to the RV address. Three weeks later I had not recieved the reciever but did make a trip home to get one of the DVRs that had been sent to my house. Since they had NOT retrieved nor sent any kind of shipping label to my house for the reciever that was sent there incorrectly, We activated the standard reciever at my home address and I brought a DVR back to the RV address with me. When we called in to activate the standard reciever from my home, I was told that the standard reciever that I had ordered had been INSTALLED in my camper the day before I left to come home. I asked them how they got in and what camper they installed it in since I never recieved the reciever, never saw the installers and my camper was LOCKED on the day they installed it.

Anyway I returned to the RV address with the DVR that I did order for the camper to find that Fedex had delivered a standard reciever on the day after I left to go home, 2 days after Dish1up claimed that they installed that reciever. I had help trying to set up my satelite only to find out I had been sent the wrong reciever for my camper. I needed a 1 LNB reciever since I don't need any foreign channels and will be setting it up by myself from here on out, but had recieved a 3 LNB. When I called DISH1up, I asked to speak to the highest supervisor available, she promised me free installation in my RV since I had had SOOOO much trouble trying to get what I ordered and all the mistakes that were made by them. I asked her IF I needed to go out and get myself another 100 ft of coaxial cable ($20. At Radio Shack) but was told NO that the installers would have everything that I neede on their truck.

Well, they did have everything that I needed on their truck including the correct satelite dish and another 100 ft of coax cable. Their free installation ended up costing me another $100 because I needed the other dish and the wire I was told I didn't need to go buy for myself! I took me about 5 weeks to get to watch TV in my RV after they changed my service at the house. I still have to pay DISHtv for the 18 months that I had left on my contract with them and did not realize it until I went to stop their service.

I wish I had dialed the correct service for DISH, I had been with them for years and loved their services. All I really wanted was more equipment so that I could take my DVR and satellite services with me when I went out campground hosting (a volunteer position by the way, I am on a fixed income).

I feel like I got lied to and screwed over by Directv and they didn't even buy me a cup of coffee!
