At the expensive stores like Dillard's I would expect nicer customer service and warning about their 3 day return policy

I've purchased a carrier for my spouse at Dillard's. Cashier explained the product is for sale and place a purchase tag about the carrier. I stated that my spouse is very fussy and that I may take it back, therefore she stated "okay". Well my spouse didn't such as the carrier and so I introduced it back 14 days later. At Dillardis they didn't return cash to my charge card, but offered me something special card and repaid just $45 (I paid $75). They explained that since I have returning them after 3 times they withhold cash. Supervisor showed me that on bill was created "3 times return", however the same bill claims "return policy on the back", where they published "thirty days return"! Ultimately following a large amount of fighting I've got gift-card with $75.

Anyway, in the costly shops like Dillardis I'd anticipate better customer support and caution about their 3-day return policy. Exactly what a frustration!
