Billing people are dishonest and rude

This company billed my insurance in February and got their payment on March 8. Then they billed my insurance again for the same amount and were denied because the insurance had already payed. Guess what they did next? In August they decide to bill me for the same amount. They tried to get paid 3 times for the same bill!!! So dishonest!

When I called to let them know that my insurance had already payed and that the amount I needed to pay was $ 76 and not $ 322 the lady became rude and unprofessional. She told me I had to pay the $322 and then work it out with my insurance. (Really? You are a contracted provider that wants to get paid twice for the same thing and I have to work it out with my insurance?)

I sent them a copy of my Explanation Of Benefits (EOB) and told them that their billing company were the ones who needed to bill me for the right amount because my insurance had already payed their portion of the bill. (lol, a billing company that doesn't know how to bill. How silly is that?)

One year later they sent me the correct bill for $76 and of course expected prompt payment... It goes to show what kind of business they run if it takes them a whole year to figure things out.

In summary they were dishonest in wanting to collect 3 times on the same bill. The worse part is that they were really a big pain to work with and were not interested in making it right. To the contrary, they were so low class and unprofessional that one lady even hung up on me during the conversation. Not to mention the long wait when you call.

If you are a practitioner looking for a medical billing company I would recommend staying away from this one. Look for a billing company that treats your patients with the same respect that you do and does honest business.
