Billing Reduction

To whom it may concern, my daughter had a minor ear surgery at your facility Dec 21. We have BCBS. They paid their portions on 1/10. We normally go through St Johns in St Louis or Southern Il Healthcare in Herrin Il. Usually, after insurance pays all other hospitals i have dealt with will take a percentage off. Usually being between 20-25% off if i pay the total amount due after insurance in full.

So, i received my bill after insurance paid on 1/20. I called and spoke to a lady in the billing office by the name of Helen. I asked her if she can take a percentage off if i can pay the balance due today. She said she would have to talk to her her boss and call me back. So she did and her boss said no. I find it hard to believe that a hospital would be so unethical and greedy to not take as much as 20% off of a patients bill to at least help the patient and know you would keep their business. I was willing to pay my total bill off if you guys would of at least knocked something off. Due to the unethical morals your hospital has, you will be receiving the minimum amount due monthly until my services is paid for. My family will never come to your facilities to have services rendered As we will only go to hospitals that look for the patients best interest not their own pocket books. If i have emailed the wrong department, please forward to the appropriate persons.
