Charged $292 for 27-Pound Box Billed as 47.5 Pounds

I went to the UPS Store, purchased a box for shipping and asked what the package would cost. I was told about $150 for up to 30 lbs, which was consistent with their web advertisement. But when I sent a staff member to the store, I was charged $292 with no information on weight and so on.
The next day I sent my employee and was given a printout showing that the box had the UPS Store address, not the address I listed on the form, and the wrong e-mail for tracking purposes. It weighed 27 pounds but was being charged as 47.5 lbs. When I called, they told me that because of the holiday they can charge double. Patrick, the manager of the store, says that Andrew was incorrect and that they are charging by dimension. He was rude and hung up the phone when I persisted in asking for a more logical explanation of this outrageous bill.
Adam contacted the corporate office and was told again that because of the holiday they are able to charge double. This is price gouging.
