HOME DEPOT in store employees rip off consumers This could happen to you

I asked one of the depot employees about getting work done around my home. She advises me that her boyfriend and another friend that work there are looking for side work and that not only would I save money but the work would be the same as if I went through home depot.

They came and did the work and the following week one of the toilets they fixed leaked exactly where they claimed to have fixed this. I have requested on several occasions for these individuals to return and fix the problem. They constantly say we will contact you shortly and repair the work. I never hear from them.

The problem I am having is that I cannot get anyone at home depot to tell me what their company policy is regarding employees soliciting business when consumers are in their store.

They keep asking me for the name of the employees, which I humbly explain to them that I am not going to report them because I do not want to get them in trouble and that if I know that they would be reprimanded by their actions I could use this to make certain they repair what they have promised to repair.
