Atlas Moving Moving Company has received $2k and I have not received my shipment since 6/14/11

In June, my family moved from Crown Point, Indiana to Fort Lauderdale. I hired "Proud American Moving" to ship our items. Long story short: they were scheduled to arrive on 6/13, no call and no show. After I contacted them, they arrived 8 hours late on 6/14 and worked until 5am. They arrived in a half filled, older rental truck. 2 man team. I found 1 of them sleeping on my floor at 3am.
The original quote was $2,245.00 for 5k pounds.
They charged me $4,231.85 saying that I had 8k pounds which was inaccurate. I removed 2 full bedrooms off of the contract before they ever arrived.
I paid them $224.00 via check as a 10% deposit. I wired $2,200.00 into their Chase Bank account which is under the name "The Moving Institute".
They do not have a manager. My primary contact has been with Leah and Katie via email. I have asked numerous times where my shipment is being stored. They will not give me that information. I have asked when will my items be shipped, I again, do not get an answer. The only rebuttal I have received is that they have to check with their Accountant to see if the wire was received. I have confirmation from my bank that the wire was received the same day.
My entire life and the lives of my children are encased in that shipment. We are sleeping on air mattresses and only have the clothese which I have had to purchase as a result of this experience. I continue to get the run around and they have $2,274.00 of my money.
It has been nearly 2 months and still no answer and no shipment. I have emails to support the aforementioned claim.
