Unreliable florist wrecks anniversary dinne

I ordered roses at noon to be delivered to a restaurant at 7:30. The restaurant was in the geographic area of the company. I explained to them it was required to be on the table when we arrived. I spoke to them to confirm. They indicated that they would be delivered by by 6:00PM.

I called the number on the website 20 times between 6 and 7 to confirm. No answer. WE arrived at the restaurant, no flowers. AS we were getting ready to leave, the hostess comes in with them, indicating that the driver just dropped them off, said he got lost.

I felt like an a* and the effect was destroyed.

The "owner", John, responded by email that I should read the web site details, and that delivery wasn't guaranteed. No explanation for the delay, no apology, no rebate and no responses to follow up emails.

There are so many online complaints about this company, that it is kind of my fault for not doing my research. Avoid this company for anything important.
