Kohl's
MVC status

Got divorced mid year. Opened new account in my name only, closed joint account. Was told they would give me MVP status for this year on new account and credit the $450 I had spent this year to my new account toward MVC status next year. Now that I've spent another $200 my Kohl's charge only shows $200 credit toward next year MVC status. Called and they told me they cannot credit this $450 I previously spent. I suggested that they simply give me complementary MVC status for next year and they said NO. I told them I would cancel my account and not shop at Kohl's any more and they still said NO. I intend to cancel my account as soon as the charges I made this weekend come through and I make an electronic payment. I will never shop at Kohl's again... NEVER.
I was treated better at Karl's Jr fast food restaurant this weekend. I ordered combo meal and signed credit card not looking at the amount. They delivered sandwich but no fries. I looked at receipt and sure enough cashier had made mistatke and only charged me for sandwich. The store manager who was delivering my sandwish gave me the fries and said not to pay the difference. I did not expect this but I appreciated their cusotmer service. I will definitely continue as a customer of Karl's Jr.
Imagine that, a huge retail company with worse cusotmer service than a fast food chain. Sad!
