Sale Price Advertised but Full Price Charged on Sausage

Smith's had Jonesville Italian sausage for sale, regular $4.99 but on sale for $3.99. I bought one and when I got home I read the receipt and it showed $4.99 and I didn't give it much thought at that time. Well, it happened again - same product, same advertised sale price and same full price at the register. After going online and seeing complaints about Kroger pricing frauds, I decided to place this complaint.
