Web site log in is designed to time out before you get there

I returned 25 HP ink cartridges to Staples in Bayshore, NY in the month of April.in May I received an e-mail telling me that my rewards were ready. When clicking their link, I was taken to a page that says "timed out". This happens every time I try to redeem my rewards, day or night. Apparently that is what the link is supposed to say. When I do manage to log in, my "rewards" total a big fat zero.in addition to being rip-off artists, I wonder what Staples is doing with all those ink cartridges?
