Affordable paralegal servives, Took our money for services that never were done and wont give us back our refund. Sent us a check that bounced

On Dec 23 We used A1 Divorce and Paralegal assistance to help us during a difficult time. We had used this service before although the web page says it will have papers filed the next day or your money back we chose to stick it out and continue to use the service. The work was not done the next day like her web page says. It was hard to get in touch with her (Stephanie Overstreet-owner) We would leave messages and not hear from her finally we would hear from her and in the end the work was done..

So back in Dec when we decided to use her again as we were desperate and after talking with her we sent her the money she requested 2 days before xmas. A week went by, then 2 weeks and again we could never get in touch with her. If you called her voicemail would indicate that it was full leaving us only emails to try and get in touch with her.

I Jan we asked for a refund as nothing was getting done. Finally in Mar we contacted Stephanie via email asking her to send the refund. We would be told that she indeed did send it but it wouldnt show up (this went on for weeks) the same story. Then we were told that the mail was returned to her. Then we would be told that she sent it again and if it doesnt get to us to let her know and she would send it via Money Gram (like the way we sent it to her) We had requested her to send it back to us this way but that never happend.

Finally in April a check was sent to us Fed Ex the check was deposited into our account and it bounced. She claims that the bank had her account on hold. That she had just deposited 10,000 and asked us to resend it throgh our account that it should clear but by this time the bank was in the process of sending it back to her leaving us minus 198.00 in our account.

This past Easter weekend we were in constant contact with her again the games of her telling us she was sending it early that day. Back and forth we went practically begging for our money. She didnt care. She at 10:30 sent us a refrence # to caim our money through Money gram. And of course that # didnt exsist we didnt get our money that night. On Easter Sunday she called us at 7:30 am to tell us she was going to send 100.00 that she couldnt send all of it because we had to show proof that it was us collecting it and again to let her know that we got and she would send th rest of it that day..

It never came.

All we want is our refund without the games and at this point I really question if she really is a paralegal
