April Peck, Clean Beez Second-rate cleaners, unprofessional, dishonest, horrible customer service and resorts to intimidation tactics

I appreciated reading the employees post regarding Clean Beez and April Peck I now understand why none of our emails or calls were returned until almost 2 month later and why their cleaning service was so horrible.

We hired Clean Beez for one of our vacation rentals in February. Vacation rentals are not very dirty to begin with since guests are pretty respectful and, at this particular rental, the guests are usually only visiting for a week at a time, so its mainly surface cleaning. Everything was discussed with April Peck by phone before the scheduled cleaning and we were assured that she was familiar with vacation rental cleanings and that we would be very happy.

We were not even close to being happy and found ourselves (my husband and I) re-cleaning the home for a total of 3 hours so that our renters wouldnt arrive to a dirty house. Not only did Clean Beez miss many basic items bath tubs were not cleaned at all and had soap scum and hair still on them, the chrome was not polished and left heavily spotted, toilets were only halfway cleaned, microwave was dirty, sliding glass door was not cleaned and had smudges all over it, shoe prints were left on the tile floors and needed to be completely re-mopped, toothpaste was left on the bathroom wall and so on. But then she also charged us for doing one load of laundry, which she agreed would not be a problem as long it was only a couple of loads we left one.

After re-cleaning the home for our renters, which left me running late for work that day, I left her an email the next day, which was a Sunday and then followed up with a phone call on Monday. Then after no response I left two more messages for April Peck. I would also like to say that these emails and messages were civil and polite. I never yelled or chastised but just wanted an explanation of what happened, why so many things were missed and requested a call back. And what I received in return was an emailed invoice for the full price, including the laundry overcharge.

I never received any response to my emails or calls other than their request to be paid. Well, we were not about to pay full price (plus an overcharge) for shoddy service so we didnt pay anything expecting and wanting April Peck to contact us, after so many calls and emails to her, to renegotiate her bill due to the substandard work. We had actually forgotten about the service until 4/5, when at 8PM, we received a call from a rude older lady by the name of Carol (Im now assuming this is Aprils mom based on the other rip off report) asking about an open invoice.

I stated that I was aware of the open invoice and had been waiting for a return call or email from April Peck to renegotiate the bill. Carol stated that April never received my emails or voice messages I dont think so - and that she would have April call me right back. Well, I didnt receive a call back from April but I received a message from Carol after 10 pm saying that April couldnt speak but that they expected to be paid. Before being able to return Carols message from the night before, the next morning I had already received another message from Carol asking where they could come to pick up a check. I called her back at 9AM the same morning and stated that I didnt appreciate the games that they were playing and that we would not be paying the invoiced amount for poor service and that if April would like to discuss the issues to please have her call me. At that point Carol became very belligerent and threatened to report me to someone or something (I could only understand half of what she was ranting about) and that they would take me to small claims court and that they would see me in court and then hung up on me.

Any company that can resort to such intimidation tactics, unprofessionalism, and dishonesty should be avoided at all costs. And if anyone knows if, or where, the company can be reported for falsely advertising a 100% satisfaction guarantee on their website, please let me know. Thank you.
