Consumer Reports Subscribed & They're Sending the Magazines to The Wrong Address - A Vacant House unknown

Shops, Products, Services

Subscribed & gave name and address. We later found out CR is using the wrong address, that of a dead relative and they sent the magazines to that house, which is owned by someone else and has been vacant for two years. CR's email address doesn't work - I get the email demon reply. It took a long time just to find a website with a way to contact them (which didn't work). CR has no link on their website. The contact us link is not a contact us link - no way to contact them. Frustrating and shows how incompetent they are. When they were given the correct address at the time of the subscription, they should have paid attention, not gone to their computer and used whatever info they could find on someone with a similar name. Are they stupid or what? There is hardly anything as simple as imputing a name and address for a current subscription. OK - UPDATE, we phoned them but I'd really prefer a paper record. Hopefully, we'll now get the magazines but there ought to be a way to contact them by email, that doesn't cost us money to fix their error and that gives us the protection we are entitled to with a paper trail.

Coolege kid came to my door and stated that they were selling magazines to win trips overseas. Being a good hearted person, I purchased a subscription for $30.00 and never received anything. They do not have a contact number at all. What a surprise!
