Took my credit card for "identification" and then charged $1,700 to it without my permission

I found this place online and went to my local office to meet with them. They took me into a small room where they then asked for my ID and a credit card for a second form of ID. I handed them over and then a VERY pushy woman sat and spoke with me for about 40 minutes telling me how wonderful the service was and why I couldnt possibly go anywhere else. When I said I was no longer interested and wanted my credit card back she brought it back to me with a receipt to sign for $1,700.00 I told her I would not sign it and she argued with me that I had to sign the paper to acknowledge that I was there and that it was simply a trial fee and I could cancel in 90 days. Wanting to get out of there ASAP, I signed the paper, took my cards, and hit the road. I then called the office on my way home and told them to cancel my plan. They said I couldn't. I said that I was told that I could cancel within 90 days. She said I must have misunderstood. I argued with her and my credit card company for about 2 weeks. The credit card would not refund because I signed the paper. After all of this, paying for the service... They NEVER supplied ANY type of dating service. I was NEVER contacted with any matches. I paid the bill because I couldnt get out of it and then they didn't even provide me with their service. Be ware of these smooth talkers. They are tricky and sneaky and have NO remorse. Don't make the same mistake I did!
