Increased Price, Threatened, Lied, and Smashed Everyone's Furniture ripoff Moving

A nightmare. I even checked out the BBB website, but 2 years ago, no info on the movers that are now on several blacklists.

-Arrived 7 hours later than specified pick up time; Asked for more money to load the truck. Desperate, I gave them the check.

-Truck too small, asked my family to go rent another U-haul truck for remainder of my furniture. I paid for another truck.

-Did not record all furniture and the appropriate number of boxes on the itemization report, told me "don't worry about it". —got screwed in end, ofcourse.

-Took over 8 weeks for delivery.

-Whenever I called the company, the woman would tell me that the manager was "gone" for the day, and to call back over and over for weeks.

-Finally, when I threatened attorney action, I was told by a manager: "I can hold your furniture for 6 months if I want", and that "You would be forced to pay storage costs, so go hire your lawyer!"

-8 weeks later, I received a call from their truck driver stating that he will release my furniture if I give him Cash on Delivery upon arrival, otherwise he will not release the furniture from the truck.

-I waited at the designated drop off time, but no one showed, this was 8 weeks later.

-I was told by the moving company that the drivers of the truck were "arrested in New York state and the truck impounded indefinitely". They were "illegal israeli immigrants" and they were being deported.

-After 8 weeks of sleeping in an empty apartment with no clothes, furniture, lights, and blankets, I bought some new furniture and prepared never to see my belongings again.

-I called Coast to Coast to ask them to at least send me my medical text books so I can study. They said that the truck was being released and would be sent to me in a few days.

-After 8 weeks, a large truck comes by, and the movers tell me that I have to climb aboard the truck bed to identify my furniture, because it was MIXED IN WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S FURNITURE

-Everyone's furniture was literally SMASHED, including shards of TV and light fixtures, crushed boxes, etc.

-I picked out the remnant of my furniture and boxes and cried because I was so glad to finally get some clothes, text books, and my now broke furniture.

-The now mexican immigrant movers were afraid to ask me for more money as threatened by the company, when they saw me sobbing hysterically in the truck bed amid other people's smashed furniture.

-I have since investigated and read that the owner of the company renames his company and relocates several times.

-The owner of the company has been featured on the news and is on the FBI white collar crime list, and is part of the Israeli mafia.

-I will never hire movers ever again. I would rather sell my furniture and buy new.
