AT&T
Early termination fee quoted $400 but billed over $1,100

AT&T do u all keep up with contracts? Do u think when u talk to the business office that they know what they are talking about or do u feel like u are talking to someone that has been in the crazy house. We had our phone cut off at another location... Cell phones worked there so I called in and the woman I talked to told me it would cost $400 and something for an early termination fee I told her to make sure that this was right and I said are u sure this is all and she said yes... So we had the phone cut off Well we get the bill in and the termination fee was over a thousand and one hundred dollars. Well guess what, I flipped. Called in and AT&T told me this was not their fault I should have kept my contract... Well excuse me, but I thought someone working for AT&T should know more about a contract than me. Ok, I ask them to cut the service back on that it was not that I didn't want to pay, it was that I would have never terminated the service to begin with if I had known this was the total fee. Please respond if you have had this kind of problem
