Collections for sprint/nextel false sprint account restarted

In oct I canceled my service with sprint. I terminated early and paid a 250 fee to do that.in Jan I started getting a sprint bill. I contacted them and said that I did not have sprint and to stop billing me. It took some time on the phone but was told that it was resolved. I continued to get bills. I contacted several more time with the same result. Than I was told that i was being charged for early termination, That was funny because I explained that I paid 250 to early terminated when I closed the account. The bill now was more than 150.00. Then I started recieving collection notices. I told them the same story and they said the billing would be sent back to sprint. Now diversified is the new collection and they want 104.41 to close the account. I told them that this is a false bill and I would not pay it. They theatend to place it on my credit report. I told them again that I was not paying a bill that was not mine. Help me please
