Charged. 15 per text on unlimited texting plan they refuse to make right

Shops, Products, Services

I put $28 on my account 3 days before due date for my texters delight unlimited texting plan. At 7:30 pm on the due date I get a message on my phone that service is unavailable due to low account balance (it's a $19 a month plan by the way). I went to their web site and it said there was a problem with my payment so I re-entered my bank info and made another payment of $28.
Then I find out the first payment cleared my bank on the day it was made. I tried to call but even though their website says they are open til 9pm PST at 7pm I get a recording that they are closed. So I e-mailed them to which I got a response 2 days later
Their e-mail said that my plan doesn't reset until 8pm on the due date so any text messages sent before 8pm on that day get charged at. 15 per. Nobody told me that when I bought the phone or plan (or I wouldn't have bought it).
I don't know about you but to me that sounds like a system designed to rip off customers. If there is enough money in my account to reset it why in the world would that money get used up for something I'm not supposed to get charged for.
