Target evidently has no control over its cashiers

Shops, Products, Services

I visited Goal today to purchase some "processed oxygen" to wash my keyboard. When I examined, the cashier asked for my drivers license. I questioned why, was informed she'd to check it to maintain the "processed oxygen" from being abused. I'd previously had this encounter in the same Goal over purchasing wine. The cashier asked for my drivers permit and scanned it without telling/asking me. The cashier for that wine stated she'd to and did not understand where the data went - "possibly nowhere". The cashier today said the identical. The cashier today claimed it had been a "state-law" to check identification.incorrect. Goal obviously doesn't have control over its cashiers. Its more straightforward to occupy my solitude than to coach their people. Today was providing Goal "yet another opportunity". No further odds.
