Ripoff Sent Collection Agency After Me

Shops, Products, Services

I have a one year contract with T-mobile. I called them and asked if I could have my account suspended for four month because I was going to Paris for the summer, and I didn't want any bills while I was gone. They said ok they would suspend my account, but they would have to charge me $10.00 a month. I told them I didn't want to pay $10.00 a month. And that I wanted to cancel my contract, and I would pay the cancellation fee.

The guy told me not to cancel my contract he said he would suspend my service and I would not have to pay 10.00 a month. He said when I return from Paris just call t-mobile to resume my contract.

But when I did returned from Paris I had two notices from the Bay Area Credit Service saying that my account has been Assigned to a collection agency. The last notice said I had 30 day to contact Them. The letter was dated September 30 and I called them on October 20. The agency said that my account is no longer with there agency that it had been sent to another agency and that I should call back tomorrow to get the new agency phone number. I really do not know what to do next. I don't want this to mess up my good credit. Can somebody please help me.
