Unathorized charges to my Amex

Shops, Products, Services

On Augsut 3, I went online and paid USA People Search $1.95 with my AMEX to locate a person. Then when I reviewed my AMEX statement, I noticed that on Sept. 10 a company named Privacy Matters 1-2-3 debited my acct.in the amount of $24.95. I called the company and inquired as to who gave them the authorization to debt that amount from my acctount and I was informed by the CSR that they got my info when I logged in USA People Search. At that point, I told them that I never consented to such withdrawing nor did I ever receive any benefit from Privacy Matters 1-2-3. The CSR stated she cancelled my membership and they would refund my money in 2 to 3 business days. I did rec. A cancellation e-mail, but norhwere does it mention that they will refund my money. Thus, I am going to dispute it with my AMEX.
