Business & Finance

After viewing my "free credit report" from "Privacy Matters 123", I immediately cancelled on the internet. The problem was that they offered the opportunity to cancel "Your Savings Club" membership.

Not realizing that this was a completely different web site, I thought that I had cancelled any more use of "Privacy Matters 123".

On Sept. 21 "Privacy Matters 123" took $29.95 from my bank account.
I then sent an email to "Privacy Matters 123" to cancel my account with them.

They sent Cancellation Notification to my email on Oct. 3, stating that I would hear from them within 1 to 2 business days. (I didn't.)

Oct. 17, I received an email stating that my "cancellation had been processed on Oct. 17".

Oct. 19, $29.95 and $1.00 were taken from my bank account by "Privacy Matters 123".
