Service Plan making Best Buy corporation wealthy... Waste of $ Evansville, Indiana

Purchased a laptop at Best Buy, along with a service plan.
The service plan was sold to me with the understanding that it took over after the warranty expired. It does not!!!
Needed service on laptop and found out Service Plan, which was supposed to be there, ran concurrent with the warranty.
Complete waste of my money. Best Buy gets rich off of conning consumers into buying these things. I'll never shop there again.
They, of course, don't care, according to my customer service call. Customers aren't their concern and neither is keeping them.
In today's economy, it should be. They could end up like Circuit City some day and need customers. See how many service plans they sell when that happens.
Go to Wxx-Mxxx!!! Their Service plans take over after warranty expires. I used to work there and their plans do not run concurrent with warranty. Had one been where I was at the time, I would have purchased my laptop there. It was an emergency replacement.

Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
