Sears came out to repair my oven. It took 4 times but they finally did it! Great except on the last visit the technician broke my floorboard. When I pointed out the chipped wood on the baseboard and the wood pieces all over the floor, he told me that it was like that when he came in! I called Sears and they said they would need to send someone out to take pictures.instead they sent out the same technician, without a camera. He told me again he didn't do it and would tell his supervisor it was a preexisting chip. So I called Sears again and was told they would send a different technician to my home between 8A.M. And 12P.M. No tech by noon. So I called and was told he was on his way and would call me with an estimated time. No phone call by one. So I called and rescheduled. I think Sears knows that for a small amount of damage (I am guessing under fifty dollars) most people can't afford to continuously take time off from work. So they intentionally make it difficult to make a claim.
