Us Reader Service
Disabled and seniors being lied to and ripped off

Shops, Products, Services

After reading other peoples reports, about thier experiences with U.S. Readers service, I decided to add my two cents worth. I was promised a one year contract when in reality it turns out to be a three or four year contract. I was told it would be eleven dollars a month and that I could make double payments and I could pay it off in half the time.

I was sent a coupon for my first month free which I had to sign and send back. This coupon is the contract they say I signed, and it turned out to be a four year contract. Some of the magazines that I ordered were unavailable, so they substituted other magazines I did not want.

My husband is a disabled veteran, his disability is our sole income and now they are coming after him. I do not work out side my home for I am the care giver of my disabled husband, elderly mother, and my grandchildrens day care.

I do not mind paying an honest debt, I do however feel that this is not an honest debt but is a lie and a rip off. I missed one payment and they started harrassing me and my husband and said that i was three months in arrears.
