Mci
Ripoff, fradulant billing, unsatisfactory customer service, rude, unpleasant service rep

Shops, Products, Services

In 1993 I had MCI as a long distance provider. My bills began to reflect long distance calls that I had not made.

I called and talked to rep. And was assured it would be taken care of.in the mean time I did not pay the amounts for calls I did not make. Six months later we were still fighting about it. I swore I would never use MCI again.

In 2003 I reluctantly began using MCI for long distance calls once more. Again same problem, billed for calls not made. This time I was charged $293.00 for a phone number in Cleveland, Ohio. After 3 months finally got rep to understand that was not my number and had nothing to do with me.

Now I have cancelled my MCI account (4 months ago) and my bill of $42.96 is being turned over for collection. These charges were incurred in the last 4 months. I have not used the service did not want the service yet I have to pay to keep it from being reflected on my credit.

Where is the justice? How a company this large charge you for what you did not use and then report it to credit bureaus when you don't pay. This is just like the mob used to do, only when you didn't pay them they just killed you, not your credit.
