Company offered package deal, but I get billed alacart

I have a commercial account with Verizon. I am located in Idaho, and my payments are mailed to California. I received a phone call and a fax from a man named Joseph Norman of One Source, a telemarketing company hired to represent the Verizon phone company. He told me that my account was up for renewal and that I qualified for a program called a "double play package."

Mr. Norman faxed me the details of the package which includes - 1 Line Unlimited Nationwide Freedom Long Distance, Voice Msg-Mailbox, Feature Package 1, DSL Internet, and Caller ID for $79.99/month on a 12 month contract. He also told me that I would get a rebate on back for the cost of the modem and the set up charges on my first bill. I was also told that I would receive a $100 american express gift card.

I asked Mr. Norman what the monthly charges would be with the sales taxes and fees, and he told me that the total was $85.35. I received the modem in the mail, hooked up my DSL service, then I got my bill in the mail. The bill was for $346.17. When I called Mr. Norman, I spoke to his supervisor, Lynda. She told me that she would look into the matter. I never heard anything back from Lynda, so I called the Verizon billing phone number on my bill.

I was told by a Verizon supervisor in Longbeach California, Mrs Buerhaus, that Mr. Norman should not have offered that price to me because the "double play package" is not offered in the state of Idaho. The best she could do was give me a credit of $210 on my bill making it $136.17. This is $50.82 more than the deal I signed up for. I have no choice but pay the bill or have my service discontinued.
