Poor Installation of Stamped Concrete & Cant get them to Return calls or Fix

Stone Images tells a good story and I believe that have probably done good work for other people, this is NOT the story here.

The first issue was they did not lay out the patter exactly the way they said they would. I was ok letting that slide. Then when they did the second part of the patio I noticed that the design was barely visible. Basically the concrete hardened before they got the stamp down. After hearing a lot of excuses they agreed to patch a couple areas. The "patch" which according to Stone Images should not be visible, was in fact very very visable. I was ok letting that slide. Then we noticed the finish on the patio starting to chip and peel up. The assured me this was normal. The problem continued to get worse and the excuse that it was normal was wearing thin. We are now in winter and the stain on the stamped concrete is pealing up in many many areas. I have been trying to get a hold of Stone Images (phone and e-mail) as is my General contractor but we are not getting an answer. Legal is probably the next step.

On a side note on a ~$10,000 job they are owed about ~$1,000 they actually had the nerve to demand the money and threaten legal action. I told them the job was not correct and I wouldnt pay the rest until it was. There response was the job was complete and the fact that it needs to be fixed is irrelevant.

We also did a core sample and it appears part of the second pour does not meet code (too soft).
