Unauthorized Charge Taken After Setting Up Service Again

I used to be a Direct T.V. customer until I checked the bank. It all started in 2008 when we were moving to the Keys. We contacted Direct T.V. and told them we were moving, and they asked us if we were going to continue to use their product (this was October). In November I called to set up service and asked about their internet service. They then directed me to ATT. At this time ATT could not install any more lines to the housing area because the board was full. I then contacted Direct T.V. and canceled the order.

I just called them yesterday and requested to set up service because I found another way around the whole internet issue. After talking with Direct T.V. several times that day, I finally was set up for service.

Yesterday they stated I had an outstanding balance of 138.75, which I paid over the phone. Today when I checked my bank account, I noticed another charge from Direct T.V. for 160.74, and after many long conversations with them I finally hung up. They stated they would reverse the charge of 160.74 in 8-10 business days. I kept telling Direct T.V. that this was unauthorized and that I wanted the money returned ASAP. Well, that didn't happen!

I then contacted my bank, which was a waste of breath. They could not stop the charges. So now I sit here frustrated and angry, and it seems like more and more rip offs are happening these days! Direct T.V. is a scam, watch out...
