Offer lower rates, but canel the offer on billing

Was cancelling my Comcast service for a lower rate by another server. Comcast called and asked what they could do to keep me as a customer. They told me they would lower my monthly bill from around $50.00 per month to $31.47 per month for 6 months. I accepted and My first bill was for $31.47. However, my next bill was back up to $50.00 once again. I called Comcast and they told me "that introductory offer was cancelled". I told them it was "not" an introductory offer but a special offer so as to keep me as a customer. However, they would not live up to their offer and I would have to pay the $50.00. I have cancelled my service with Comcast. They cannot be trusted.
