Inaccurate, misleading data on their website

The following is copy 'n pasted EXACTLY as listed on the Verizon Wireless web site.

Verizon's STATED definition of a 'Family Share plan' is TWO PHONES, shared minutes. This portion alludes to two phones for seniors @ $29.99. Then, when an effort is made to access this '$29.00' plan, (click on) "Nationwide 65 Plus Family SharePlan" link, this comes up:

I have been a Verizon Wireless client for many years. I have also posted favorable comment on this site previously relating to Verizon Wireless. I found the foregoing errors on their site while perusing their site and plans for the possible basis of the many Verizon complaints on this site. I called Verizon Wireless for an explanation as to why the ADVERTISED "family share plan" (two phones per their definition) @$29.00 is NOT available, and, in fact, comes up $59.99 when an effort is made to access what's advertised. I was given a rather cavalier response: "Oh, that's just an error on our web site. I'd be happy to explain the plans available." I'm thoroughly cognizant of their plans, and was somewhat insulted at this patronizing response.

Bottom line, my opinion of Verizon Wireless really took a hit. What they allude to being available on their web site is, in fact, NOT available. Verizon's rating with me went from a solid "10" to a "7" or less. Sad. Really sad.
