I took my clothing to Kates Cleaners in Carrollton Texas. When i returned to pick up my clothing, they could not find them.

I was patient and returned to check on my returned clothing six times. Nothing. Not one item was returned.

I ask to see the manager and of course he was never there. So i continue to visit the store to catch the manager present for two months.

Then i am told to fill out a form for insurance to pay. I do so and return the next Monday.

I wait another two weeks. Nothing. I return again and still nothing. Then the manager asks for receipts. At first i was told receipts for my clothing were not necessary now it is.

I return to the cleaners again twice. Nothing. Then my mother goes by to check on it for me. Nothing. The third time my mother goes by the manager argues that my receipts do not match my claim. That is not true. I could not find all of my receipts due to the fact that i had just moved the whole reason for a new cleaners.

I wait a week and go by the manager which i now know is the owner sends he brother out to ask me what i want. Then another man walks out from behind and says the manager had just left. I said well that is unfortunate because i am here to pick up my clothing that has been lost for two months. About that time the manager / owner walks out of the back room where he was apparently hiding. He says the same thing to me that the receipts do not match and i said yes they do. What are you going to do about my clothing.

He walks over and starts to dig through a drawer and says that he has not heard anything from his insurance company. So i asked if i could have the insurance company name and number. He says he does not have that information but will have it Monday. So i return on Monday and of course the information is not there for me and he is not there.

Kates Cleaners has stolen my clothing. They will not return them and they will not pay for them. They will not give me any information to be reimbursed.

Do not use this cleaners.

What do i do?
