Ruined 3 pants and two shirts due to Negligence

Okay, here is how it went, most professionals require their clothes to be cleaned at a dry cleaner. It is part of every day life, when you work in a professional enviroment and do not have the time to clean your own clothes, you put your trust in your local cleaners.

I brought 3 pairs of pants and 2 shirts to Dry Clean USA. They had a problem at the cleaning plant and ink dispersed all over many of their customers clothing. This happens when the cleaners fail to properly check the garments for pens (neglience!). All of my clothing, was ruined.

I filed a complaint, and filled out their paper work. The paper work, states that if the cost exceeds $50.00, you have to furnish a receipt for the clothing. So not only are you immensely inconvenienced, but they want to start an all points bulletin to look for receipts for your damaged garments.

I refused to sign their request, 3 pants and 2 shirts exceeds $50.00 if you shopped at the flea market. Two weeks went by, and I had no response from the cleaners. Since I had to replace my ruined clothing in a pinch, I purchased less then equivalent clothes, and gave them a copy of the receipt.

I purchased my clothing at inexpensive shopping store; the total cost was $109.00. The cleaning charge was 28.00. Now my loss is@ $137.00 time and travel.

The district manager Delina said it was company policy for a customer to furnish receipts for clothing that they damaged, and refused to credit me for my loss.

The inconvenience and lack of care really frustrated me; they just do not care for their customers. They try stalling tactics and redirection to bypass doing the right thing. Just so you know, I have been bringing my clothing to this location for over 10 years, and spend an average of $100.00 a month in cleaning bills.

Do not do business with this company!

They will not stand behind their work. They would rather lose a customer and $, then do the right thing.

Just so you know, I do not take unprofessional companies lightly and will proceed to do the right thing that's right for me.
