Sold me a product, Triple Freedom and overcharged me

I changed my phone service plan to Verizon's Triple Freedom package. When my bill arrived, I was charged for service, but discounts were not applied. After almost 40 min. On phone with 2 reps., I was basically told there was nothing they could do because billing is one system and package discount is another. I want to know how they can offer a product (Triple Freedom), quote a price for that product and not honor that quote. Is this some kind of 'false advertising'? I would like to have them honor their quote and credit my account for their mistake.
