Could or Would not trun off text messaging

Use it. T-Mobile charge you for both incoming and outgoing messages. This is the RIP off. I should not be changed for something I cannot control. I cannot stop the messages from coming in (disable it on my phone or my plan). I cannot block the unwanted solicitation messages, and T-Mobile will not turn them off or stop them. I have repeatedly called them and complained. I filed BB, FCC and FTC complaints and none is doing anything about this. This is a multi billion dollar rip off.

T-Mobile's solution is buying the unlimited texting plan. I don't use this why should I have to buy a plan I don't need or use. They claim they cannot turn if off because they use that to update the phones. Well if they control the phone with it they can turn it off until an update is needed and then turn it on to make the update and then turn it off again. This is a huge cash cow for them so they do not want to turn it off. Other companies can disable it so their claim that they cannot is bogus. They offered to change my number. This will not any help as these are systematic number spasm (dial each number, send the spam, increment the number, dial send spam, etc). Spammers use this because they know that the texting is not turned off.

This complay is violating their own code of conduct. The above violates that code big time:

This being in their code of conduct means that every last customer support rep has lied. It is their responsibility to improve customer support. Turn off messaging. This is customer support. Giving me what I need and want.

I further submit that the company isself has violated it's own rule here.
They do not value change at all or there would be a choice to turn on or off the features I do aor do not want. If it is true that they act as though they are spending company money then why can't I have this turned off so you don't have to spend the time and money to correct the bills for bogus text messaging.

"Can Do" is in reality "Can Not Do" or there would be a way to stop the unwanted text messages.
