T-Mobile
Cancelling my phone service

Shops, Products, Services

Is there anything called excessive roaming for a service that claims to provide free roaming? I have been a customer of T-mobile for the past 4 years and I called for a service question only to be told by the customer service representative that T-mobile is planning to cancel my service due to excessive roaming. This was news to me because I have not received any notification from them. I asked whether a company can just terminate my service without informing me I about it the representative said that T-mobile can terminate the agreement with the client whenever they want. Whereas the customer cannot— you have to pay them an early termination fee.

Meanwhile I used my current residential address to apply for the service so if they know where I'll be using the phone for the most time, I can't believe that years down the road, they turn around to tell me I've been roaming excessively.

I asked if they could allow my billing cycle to end so that I'll have ample time to get another service provider but they refused. Surprising that a company will treat a faithful customer this shabbily. This is the WORST customer service I have received in my life. Is there anyone out there who has gotten such mistreatment from T-mobile or can someone tell me when the issue of excessive roaming came into play?
