T-Mobile USA
Double Charging for Web Service and Charging for Data Roaming when Data Roaming is Turned Off

Electronics and household app.

T-Mobile retail sold my wife a blackberry curve she purchased for her grand-daughter. The new phone number was added to our plan but the retail location did not tell my wife that she was buying an upgrade under her phone number (A Samsung t339). T-Mobile told my wife that the blackberry required a 30.00 a month data web fee which she agreed to. What T-Mobile did not tell her that she was being charged for her number (The Samsung t339 non web phone) and for the Blackberry curve just purchased (total 60.00 dollars a month). T-Mobile insist that this is legal and that we are obligated to keep the charges because my wife purchased as an upgrade to her phone. TOTAL RIP OFF...

Next, T-mobile sent me a text message stating if I wanted to turn off data roaming while traveling internationally to send text #ROF# to them and Data Roaming would be disabled. I recieved error mesages on my phone stating that I was not recieving messages because data roaming was turned off. Turns out these messages from T-Mobile where being charged to me at International Data Roaming Rates. This cost me 300.00 dollars. Stay away from T-Mobile. This company is fighting to stay alive and has now stooped to unethical business practices to maintain revenue.
