Won't let me (or my mom) cancel!

My mom has had vonage for a few months, we NEVER use it, I advised her to not even get it in the first place.

When we first signed up they somehow gave us a phone number that was ALREADY SOMEONE ELSES NUMBER. So when people would try calling us back on our new vonage number theyd get some other random person in our city.

That finally got fixed after 3 weeks.

The call quality was alright, I could hear everyone I called fine, although everyone I called said I had alot of static noise in the line.

Either way the main problem is THEY WONT LET ME OR MY MOTHER CANCEL. They transfer to a "cancellation department" and after an hour of waiting they never pick up. This isnt the first rip off report about this either.

If anyone is starting a class action lawsuit SIGN ME UP this company is NOT ethical and deserves to be taken out.

Before being trasnferred to the "cancellation department" I was informed wed be paying a "$40.00 cancellation fee".

Go figure.
