Sold an item almost a year ago on ebay. It was a creative MP3 player I sold it for $200 and everything was fine the transaction went through and I was able to receive my funds. About 8 months later I receive a chargeback from paypal for that item. 8 Months later I mean come on. So I contacted paypal and filed my dispute against this. I had everything to back me up I followed their instructions for being a seller and having an item covered in case this were to happen. Fine so I went ahead and sent it off.
A couple days later I receive an email back from paypal stating that their was nothing they could do and that I was going to be $200 out and I at the same time ran a webhosting business on this paypal account so it was unusable for a while. I contacted paypal regarding this and their best answer was giving me a list of local sheriffs in the county of the buyer's address and that I was going to have to do it that way. That was their best answer.
Bottom line I trusted this company I trusted that I was going to be safe as a seller and ended up getting stiffed in the end.
Bottom line paypal's customer service is very poor by what you can see above and promises are not kept.
