Express Mail Tampering - Late Deliveries

Shops, Products, Services

If you are sending overnight Express Mail to any address serviced by the Worth, Illinois post office, you likely are being ripped off for the cost of $16.50 or more. The Worth Post Office services Worth, Palos Heights, Palos Park and Palos Hills.

In order to meet the noon deadline for delivering express mail, the Supervisors at the Worth Post Office are falsifying documentation to (1) show the item is delivered timely in order to maintain quota and (2) disabling any attempt to force a refund.

If a carrier tells his/her Supervisor he cannot make the delivery by the noon deadline, the Supervisor instructs the carrier to scan the item as attempted before noon and then deliver it after noon. The Supervisors thereby maintain quota and disable the opportunity for the shipper to get a refund.

The Worth Post Office is not the only unit operating this scam. It happens at numerous facilities. Check the tracking number on your item. See if it is scanned as attempted before noon and then delivered after noon. What a racket!
