Paid company 499 bucks to close timeshare. They never did and never answered my phone calls or emails. Need to contact a lawyer

Contacted the company to close my timeshare. The company looked legit and when I called they answered. Once I paid the money for the closing costs and the TIMESHARE I never heard from them again. I have called and called and called and no one answers. The company never responds to my emails either. Contemplating contacting a lawyer.
