MNI Credit Report What a Scam these people have going!

I went to this credit site to get a combination of my credit score from the 3 credit companies. I do not remember giving them my credit card number but they say I did. They then charged me $12.95 for so called monitoring service of my credit reports. I never heard anything from them not even a confirmation e-mail stating anything.

I called them today after I got my credit card bill and noticed the charge for $12.95."By the way if you go to their site today it is only $9.95/mo." I did get one with my credit score on it, but nothing else and I am not sure who sent that to me. They say because of the privacy act they cannot give my credit score to me or access it. They only monitor my credit reports for fraudulent activities.

Today after I got the bill I called the number on my bill. They told me that I was being charged for them monitoring my credit and it would be monitored through the 29th of June since they just billed me again yesterday. I asked why can I not cancel it today and get that $12.95 back. They could not do that and in fact became very rude when I persisted. WHY, because I was a day late. Louise the supervisor was the worst.

These people have quite a racket going here. If you are not careful and read everything on their website you will think you are gettting a free credit score which is how it is advertised, when in fact you are getting set up to be charged if you do not cancel in 30 days, and do not be one day late trying to cancel or you will get charged. You can run a fantastic scam doing business this way. The charge shows up on your credit card bill and you do not even realize that this is what they were doing. You get 1000's of people doing this and then put rude people on your phone lines you have a business.

All this is stated on their web site about the 30 days and the charge and all of that, but again if you do not read every word you will be in big trouble and will be paying for absolutely nothing.
