Wrongly billing Early Termination Fees

Sprint continues to bill my account for Early Termination Fees. Even though I followed proper steps for the phones cancellation, including cancelling the phone on the date advised by their customer service department and paying all final bills, Sprints billing department has generated a bogus invoice for early termination on my phone. Even though a Sprint customer service agrees this bill is bogus & assure me they will have it fixed, the invoices continue to come each month, accruing late fees and now have been reported to a collection agency.

I have way too many hours into this to continue to try and fight it through Sprint.

As I type this letter, I am speaking to Sprint (agent# 47002). The agent pulled up my account and confirmed that the ETS fees should have been waived. He also stated that he could see from reading the notes that I was upset when I made the calls and that is probably why the requests were never put through. I am sure if agent 47002 had to spend upwards of 2 hours on hold trying to resolve the same recurring issue, he might be upset too.

The Sprint system is very large and no one seems to be accountable. I was a loyal Sprint customer for many years and paid them a lot of money during my term with them. I have also had many problems which involved mis-billings and contract extensions without approval which forced me to terminate my 2 phones and go to another carrier. The company operates without senior management involvement and customers are left without recourse when problems occur.

I also have to say that my experience with Sprint was the worst I have ever had to deal with in my professional career. I have repotred my experience with Sprint to the FCC. Ironicly, my 21 year old son has just advised me that he is going through the same problem with Sprint. Apparently, anytime you make an adjustment or change to your phone, Sprint "automatically" extends your contract with advising you.
