Collierville, Tennessee Kroger's, Money Order Rip Off with an Attitude

I purchased a One Hundred Dollar money order from Kroger Collierville, Tennessee to pay a bill. I took it to the post office in Victoria, Mississippi added postage and give it the clerk. About a week later I received a postal envelop inside was the same bill and money order sent back to me, little did I know the bill was tore in half and the money order was tore in three places with less than a inch piece missing everything was legible except for one number.

The next day I returned to Kroger's with my receipt and the damaged money order asked if I can cancel or void this money order and purchase another one for the same amount. I have the receipt of purchase. The clerk informed me that she could not find the forms. The line was long and after 15 or 20 minutes of waiting, I informed her that I would try again later.

A week later I returned again and asked what do I need to do in order for me to get a new money that was damaged by the post office who had informed me that it may have got damaged in the machine and I can not file for a claim, I need to take it back to Kroger's.

First, the assistant Manager with an attitude informed me that his bank can not replace the money order with out any numbers missing at the bottom. I asked if it was on the receipt, his reply was no and he call the Manager and than walked off to meet him, both returned.

The Manager with an attitude answer was you give us a hundred dollars and we gave you a hundred dollars that's yours hundred dollars go file a claim with the post office. I asked him if I came in here with a tore hundred dollar bill you would not except it, he turn and walked away.

It's not only about the hundred dollars it about the service. No guidance, No nothing just Poor Management Skills (PMS).
