A reception center that is about money, upgrades and not customer service or services for the disabled

Used high pressure tactics on young brides to contract with them with a very high deposit. After wedding was cancelled, owner became immediately rude and verbally abusive refusing to credit, transfer or refund at least part of deposit. After contacting other reception centers, they have much lower deposits and stated they would have gladly worked with us and or let us transfer the deposit to another couple. We weren't even offered to use it for another date. We were just out of $700.00 end of discussion.

Initally this business was very pushy, very pushy on upgrades, very pushy on making a decision right then and very vague on the deposit terms. We gave them 2 months to reserve the date for another couple and found the verbal abuse I got very unprofessional, very, very rude and had to end the call to avoid further harrasement. There also was not a main floor bathroom to use for both grandmothers who struggle with stairs and our handicapped guests. We were very concerned as one of the grandmothers is 80 and needs the restroom a lot. I believe all public facilities need handicap access.

When I visited the center I inquired about this and was told the second floor bathroom up the stairs is for our guests. I did state the disability that both Grandmothers have and was given the same response again. There was no indication of a ground level facility they could use.

I do not recommend this place. The date was for June 27th and we gave 2 months notice. We want our $700.00 back and will keep going after it.
