Dishonest Crooked Unfair Treatment to customers

Vintage Stock is a Store that sell's and trades Used and New Video games and DVD movies and Game cubes and X-Box'es Play staions and etc.

On June the 2nd 007 My wife took my 14 year old son to Vintage stock in springfield Missouri to buy a movie, The Movie my son picked was a Animated cartoon 3-Disk box version Called NARUTO It's a japanese made movie for kid's and they do make an American version of this movie in english. My son picked the one that was all japnese Audio and did not know this till he bought and payed $42.00 and found out later at home that it was not the english version.

My wife called the store on the phone and told them what had happend and asked if she could bring the movie back and exchange it for anotheir movie or get a refund since my son had not opened or played it yet. The clerk took down my wifes phone number and told her he would half to talk to the manager and would call her back. He called back about 30 minutes later and told my wife that they would not refund any money at all on the game and would only give her a $15.00 Dollar credit towards the purchase of something else but would not give her credit on the total amount she payed for the movie which was $42.00

My wife explained that my son was only 14 years old and he was the one who picked the movie, The store did not have any signs warning about this movie not being in english and the movie its self was not plainly marked where even an adult could really tell what version the audio of the movie was in [english or japanese] All the clerk would say was It was store policy not to refund any money after a purchase was made and that they would not give the full credit towards the purchase of something else in ther store. I was really upset about how they treated my son and wife. I' called the springfield Police department and filed a report on the store. They advised me to contact the Greene county circut court Civil Division first thing monday morning to get legal advise of what Legal action I might be able to take against Vintage stock. The police report Number I filed is Report Number #07-26662 I will never do any business with this store ever again and will not let my son or wife ever go back and shop. My son has been to that store lots of times and had bought lots of expensive things from these people before He has been at their store enough that I know they half to know him and would think they would care more about how they treat their customers. My son has traded some of his games with them in the past also and I've thought they cheated him out of alot of money before and over looked it. But after this and them not willing to trade or refund all the money which They really should have done since the movie had not been played or opened and plus they was contacted no more than 45 minute after my son had bought that movie by phone about the problem with the movie he had bought. They was very hatefull sounding on the phone which made them even look more guilty and dishonest.
