Double or Nothing!

This report is yet another example of Blockbuster Video not taking care of the customer. Back in April my wife and I decided to give them another chance and renewed our membership. Everything was great until we rented "Smoking Aces". Our friend, "Dave" also wanted to get a membership at the time he gave us a ride to the store. And so after loving Smokin Aces so much he decided to purchase it at the same time he was returning it for me. Well he paid 24.10$ for the movie and all was good, we thought. I didn't rent from there for a few weeks and then they're telling me that I need to bring the movie back and it will be a 1.50 restocking fee.

Well "Dave" was piXXed he paid for it the reciept. And wasn't going to take it back because he paid for it. I went in the store and tried to explain what happened. I knew the exact date because we had gotten our membership the same day. 4/20/07. I went with the movie a few months ago and had them look on the video tape. They said they couldn't tell whether or not he paid for the movie. Its ridiculous because you could see the movie being handed to him. And they said that could be another movie! Lol.

And so i just tried to return the movie and told Dave that I would pay him for the movie and that we just wanted to rent again. So I tried to return the movie and they wouldn't take it back because it was passed 30 days. So now I'm stuck with the movie, oew blockbuster 24.10$ and can't rent from there until I pay for a movie twice! Sorry but I'm now a netflix member and its very easy and enjoyable. If Blockbuster wants me back take off the 24.10$ and I'd probably join the total access program.
